The building traces its origins back to the year 1912 as it is located in the heart of old Reykjavik, next to the icelandic parliment building, Althingi. We offer 12 rooms, with commom access to bathroom and kitchen facilities. Please note that this is a non smoking facility. Skolabru guesthouse offers free WiFi.
Our garden area is a perfect spot for travellers to unwind after a day exploring Reykjavik. All services such as banking, grocery stores, restaurants and bars can be located within walking distance. There is a 5 minute walk to Laugavegur, Reykjavik´s main shopping street, from the guesthouse.
Payment is required in advance upon booking. Guests can check in after 2:00 pm. Check-out is at 12:00 pm or sooner.
Parking is not provided by the guesthouse but plenty can be found located near and around the facility for an hourly fee. Information regarding bus routines and booking information to/from Keflavik International Airport (KEF) can be obtained on the following web site:
